RACI Matrix
A RACI matrix is a simple grid that makes clear, for each task in a project, who is responsible, accountable, consulted and informed (RACI). It removes the common confusion where everyone assumes someone else is handling a job, by writing down exactly one person who is accountable for each piece of work.
It is like a jobs plan for a family dinner: one person carves, one lays the table and everyone knows their part, so nothing is dropped or done twice. A RACI matrix matters because unclear ownership is a leading cause of missed deadlines and repeated effort.
