Change Management

Change management is the deliberate way a business plans, approves and rolls out a change so it goes smoothly and nothing important breaks. Before switching a system or a process, it asks what could go wrong, who needs to know and how to undo it if the change causes trouble.

It is like renovating a shop room by room with a plan and a way to reopen each part, rather than gutting the whole place mid-trade and hoping. Change management matters because most serious outages and staff frustration come not from change itself but from change done carelessly and without warning.
