What a monthly website audit report is.
A monthly website audit report is a short document that says what state a client's website is in, in plain words, once a month. It reads up to 100 public pages the way a specialist would and reports what was found, what has been noted and what to fix next, ranked by what matters to the client's business. It is a report about outcomes on the site, not a list of tasks your team did.
why findings
Findings beat activity logs.
An activity log says what you did
Plugins updated, backups taken, uptime monitored. Accurate, and the client cannot tell whether any of it mattered, so the retainer looks like a cost.
A website audit report says what it means
A page that is hard to find, a form that is hard to use, a key that should not be public. Each one names the page and the fix, so the client sees the value every month.
the sections
What each section of the report means.
Plain-English versions of the report's sections, written for the client rather than the developer.
Search
Can people find the site when they search for what you do? Page titles, descriptions, structure and whether search engines can read every page.
AI
Can AI search tools read the site and tell what each page is about? Crawler access, structured data and clear answers.
Conversion
When someone arrives, can they do the thing you want: book, call, buy or ask? Calls to action, contact details, forms and the friction in between.
Trust
Does the site look real and current? Proof from other customers, a privacy policy and terms and no placeholder text.
Phone
Is the site easy to use on a phone? Text size, tap targets and a layout that fits the screen.
Accessibility
Can everyone read and use it? Contrast, image descriptions, headings and labels that a screen reader can follow.
Security, after domain verification
Is anything exposed on the public pages that should not be? This section is added once we have confirmed we look after the domain, so nobody can order a security check on a site that is not theirs.
What public pages only means for a client.
The checks read the site the way any visitor's browser does. They never log in, never touch the admin, never change a file and never see anything a visitor could not see. That is why a report can be run without a password and why nothing on the site changes until the client approves the fix. It also means anything behind a login, such as a customer portal, is outside the report.

Monthly email
Each month we check up to 100 public pages of your website the way a specialist would, in every area the report checks, and we send you one report. It lists what we found, what we have noted and what we will fix next, ranked by what matters most to your business. Once we have confirmed we look after the domain, it also checks whether anything is exposed that should not be. We read only the pages any visitor can see: we never log in to anything, and nothing on your site changes until you say so.
Proposal line
Monthly website audit report. Up to 100 public pages of your site are checked each month in every area the report checks, with the exposure checks added after domain verification. You receive one report under our name: findings ranked by impact, each with the page it is on and the fix, what we have noted and the checks that passed. Public pages only. We never log in or change anything without your approval.
