Accessibility
Accessibility, in design, means making products that people with disabilities can use, including those who cannot see well, cannot use a mouse or find dense text hard to follow. It covers choices like strong colour contrast, captions on video and labels that a screen reader can announce.
It is like fitting a building with ramps, lifts and clear signs so everyone can get in and around, not only the fully able. Accessibility matters because it widens who can become a customer, is a legal requirement in many places and, in practice, tends to make a product clearer and easier for everyone.
